Howard Zinn once said “Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world”. To me, this is what the MUN is about, people who believe that together, they can make a difference. My name is Yosra El Abbassi, I’m a senior at André Malraux high school and I am delighted to be the Chair of the United Nations Refugee Agency. In the UNRA, you’ll have the opportunity to raise your voice to not only help to change the world, but to shape it. This year, together, we will be valsing through the rhythm of renewal. So for the last dance of my co-chair and I in the AMMUN adventure, we will do everything we can to make sure that you, delegates of the UNRA, dance in harmony to the music of discussion during this prestigious conference. “Be the change you want to see in the world”. Good luck dear delegates and remember to have fun !
